head light
« on: December 02, 2010, 16:03:41 »
My Landy just failed its MOT because someone is picky about lights. One of the head lamps is not putting out a pattern and just shining a nice round spot. To me this is a very serious failure point considering it is a few months shy of its 50th birthday. I don't know how I have managed to drive it at night in such a state!
Where is the best place to go for 24 volt bulbs or lamp assemblies?

It's been some time but this link may help,

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/11116/4308/1/514775-HEAD-LAMP-BULB-24-VOLT.html

Pre focus type though, I think thats what you may have fitted and why it wrongly failed M.O.T ? ? just a thought  :undecided:

Since I posted this the Mud Club site went off line. I went back and when he went to show me what was wrong with the head light magicly it was just fine. The thieves still charge me 30 pounds for a retest because I was up north working for a week and couldn't get in soon enough.
