I'd like a series - should i go2 or 3?

Hello ,

Well i've just sold my td5 90 hardtop due to an expanding family and got a company car , but i'd still love a LR , so i'm thinking about a S2 or 3 for a general runabout/tip runs/weekend motor.

I like the look of the older style S2/2a's with the headlights in the grills - but would a 3 be better?

What sort of prices should i be looking at for a good decent motor?

realy depends on what you want it for s3 will be cheaper but 2/2a have a bit more charm  but if good make more money foa a good swb s3 you will be looking at

The only thing I'd add is that the moved the lights to the wings for a reason- they're not very good in the grille. I have a 2a and have put an old centre panel back in, but am keeping the s3 wings so I'll have 4 up front.
