200Tdi Exhaust mods?
« on: November 11, 2010, 17:18:30 »
Hi peeps, I have aquired a spare (standard) full exhaust system for my 200Tdi & am after any tips on how best to modify this for better noise/power if possible?
I have been told the best thing to do is to remove the middle box & keep the rear box. However, another chap has told me to make it a full straight through, I'm sure this would have a good effect on the noise but the opposite effect on power???? :-k

All suggestions welcomed.

Cheers

Havn't noticed any extra power with our double S one-box system.  Fit a standard system in good nick as it will last longer if you don't start hacking it up.

I've got no back box, just the middle. Doesn't sound that different, maybe a little deeper. Only mod i've done to get better performance is wound the boost and fuel up!
Disco 200TDi. Some mods!
