Guys, I'm gonna be checking my propshaft UJ's tommorow and if (as I suspect) they are rattling like an old bearing.... I'll need to change them.

Now I know an 9/16 socket or spanner WILL get the propshaft bolts out.... but I know there is a tool out there just for the job.

So... a favour... does anyone local to Rugby/Leicester have one I could borrow please? **Gets on bended knee and begs**

got one on order but it's gonna take a few days to get here... need to get the job done Friday afternoon and this tool would make it a whole lot easier!

Thanks in advance!

Do you mean the long thin socket for the prop bolts Frank? Got one here if you have no joy closer to home.

Chris that'd be great. I'll pm you my number and we'll set summit up.

It is easier with the prop tool but i find I still have to spin the prop over to get all 4.  You can do it with spanner but the risk of rounding the nuts is greater.  Either way you probably need 1 spanner.
