TINNY RATTLE

diff-breaker:
hi 300TDI SERIES 1 DISCO - annoying tinny rattle mostly when chanigng from 1 to 2, sometimes from 2 to 3 appears to be coming from mid section  of transmission. It sounds almost like a metal ring  is loose and vibrating on somehting. Any ideas ? :huh:

Disco-Ron:
The heatsheilds above the centre silencer are prone to cracking......... check that!
