Well, took the plunge and bought a new Thule rack and luggage carrier, loaded up SWMBO and the sprog and headed off to Morayshire for a week in a caravan.

Excellent week of touring, hillwalking and a little bit of beer sampling, oh and also managed to try out a few simple lanes as well.

The Jimny was packed with gear but covered 600 miles in total and never missed a beat.

yeeh nice little machines arent they. We us eours for driving instructing and you can imagine the stick it gets..... and it comes back for more. I dont envy you doing 600 miles in a few days though, it isnt too cumfy for me on long journeys, the back support is in the wrong place cos I sit tall

Still a great car tho :)
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

Strangely enough, found it quite comfy, but that might be because we are vertically challenged Scots!! Must be the water....
