Transfer box front output bearing.

The word I was looking for is a cage.
Looks like it's split the front part of the box in the morning.
I thought you'd need to remove the whold t box but it looks like it'll split in situ drawing off the front output housing.

Am I right?

Ed, i don't know about your transfer box but when Chris and myself overhauled my overdrive the large bearing at the back didn't want to come out even tapping it from behind so we warmed up the casing with a hot air gun and the bearing then came straight out, don't know whether this will help? hope to see you soon.....

Range Rover Blues:
I believe the front of a B-W T-box will come away on it's own to reveal the front of the shaft and viscous LSD, I'm not sure about the LT230 T-Box though.
