Vitara JLXWindow Switch Question
« on: July 26, 2010, 19:35:26 »
HMMMM...................................

a bit of an oddun this one:

I replaced the driver's side window switch cluster (many thanks Bits for Vits) and its been working fine, apart from the last few days, the diver's side window will wind down on the switch, but, wont wind back up. The only way I can get the window to wind back up is to remove the switch from the mounting and blow into the holes around the switch and then refit it in place, then it works.

Anyone had a similar glitch or any locost/lotech fixes??

Unfortunately the switch unit is one of those sealed [!Expletive Deleted!], so no go on the taking apart jobbie, I'll have to see if I can blow some switch cleaner in to the unit!!
