people who know can you tell me if there is any difference in tyre size i.e high or width  between these 2 sizes

31x10.5x15       and       235/75 15       ?????

235x1.5=352.5/25.4=13.87+15=28.87

so what the above does is convert the metric into imperial so the width of both tyres is about the same but the 235 is only 28. 87 inches tall as opposed to 31 nches
