Hi all, as we have 2 family size landrovers i am turning my 90 into a truck cab and was wondering if there will be much of a weight change as i'll be loosing all the sides and rear door and will this affect the suspension much,

I did mine recently and have my roof and sides still in the back garden, me and the missus can pick it up easily to shift it for lawn mowing, the truck cab complete with the roof on I can lift on my own, I would imagine there is about  30-40 lbs difference between the two,  the rear door has to be taken into consideration as you've said.


saying all that I've added a roll cage, a D44 rear winch bumper, a winch tray and rear winch to mine and it still sits ok perhaps half an inch lower, the downward suspension travel is not affected as thats unsprung mass and upward is limited by the bumpstops anyway
