AWESOME!! But then so is the Gama Goat..... hmmm... which do i prefer? I think the Goat, just because i could get the kids, dogs, camping gear and all the other stuff that goes with taking 4 kids on a 1000 mile round trip and a bit of camping! Of course it`ll just be the disco for now seeing as we leave on friday!

I was just wondering the exact same thing. IIRC it affected the 109-based powered trailer prototypes too?

I suppose that you could do something clever with a tilt switch so it cuts off power to the trailer if the drawbar reaches a certain angle of yaw and the vehicle angle goes beyond safe limits.

Llanigraham:
I suspect that because it is driven differently to those in the past, ie hydraulically, might make a big difference.
How do the 4x4 centre steer diggers and dumpers cope?

littlepow:
it looks like it uses the same trailer stabilty and steering system found on BV206.
Wondering if the trailler follows the vehicles tracks or has a different route when cornering???

V8MoneyPit:
With computer technology today, I'm sure the trailer 'pushing' issue is very easy to avoid. It's basically the same as computer controlled 4wd systems where they control drive to the back to balance a car rather than oversteering it. We were doing this at prototype level in the late eighties at Lotus with the Active programme.
