TEMPER593:
Hi all.

Can you get a more powerful front washer motor than the one thats fitted for the front window on the D1?  :-k
Size of the hole doesn't really matter as im going to get the washer bottle remade in ali.

Thanks in advance TEMP

Rossko:
You could use a headlamp wash pump, as used on later models.   It'll probably burst the pipework if you use it with standard jets though.

The standard screen pump is perfectly adequate for four standard jets.  Consider just cleaning out slime, blocked jets etc. or renewing a worn pump like for like.

All it is is that i've fitted the washer bars from a pug on it and its not getting the desired afect i wanted.

Not sure but doesn't the headlight washer only work sometimes. I've noticed on mine it doesn't work ever time i use the wash wipe for the window?

I'll have a fiddle with it tomorrow and see what i can come up with.

Cheers TEMP

I might be wrong but I think it only works with the lights on.

Headlight washer is on a timer, it only works if you wash the screen for more than a second, if the headlights are on and then only for another second or two.

However, it's not rocket science to rewire it.
