Well it turns out i need the o/s/f cable as mine is goosed then to get a viscous unit for the box

Range Rover Blues:
Are ytou sure the viscous is stuffed? jack up the front wheel and put your wheel nut wrench on the nuts.  Lena on the wrench and see if the wheel moves at all.  If it spins slowly then all is well, you should just about be able to slacken a wheel nut against the viscous unit, the harder you push the stiffer it gets.
