Is Jenolite any good?
auf_wiedersehen_pet:
Simply question really.
Thinking of touching up the odd bit of rust.

Whatever 'miracle' product you use, the best it can do is slow down the process. The only way to do the job properly is the cut the rot out and replace with new metal.
I have used Dinitrol RC800 in the past on my 2CV. It seemed to seal the surface reasonably OK so I could paint over it. But it still came through again within about 2 years. That was better than just painting over the rust though!
Range Rover Blues:
I have used one that does completely remove thew rust, if you can be bothered to keep recouting it all the time. Can't remember the name but it was green
Mark Y:
When I was an aircraft engineer in the forces Jenolite was the only rust treatment authorised for use on the aircraft if that's any good to you

This is the main claim of their advertising - might risk a little pot then.
Thanks for the replies
