Arghhhh not my month still razza frazzing caliper

 :evil: coming home from last nite I heard the tell tale chatter of ANOTHER wheel bearing so i jacked the truck up this morning and did the old wobble test  :shocked: yup thats gone soooooo much play so all was going well till......

 I Sheerd Both bolts off in the caliper  :'( :'(  and in doing so trapped my hand between the rock slider and the bar I was using, leaving most of my thumb still on the rock slider  :->

So.... how do i get whats left out?  big drill? and where would be best to get some shiney new bolts ?

or the Large Fire im comteplating to get my own back for the hand  :evil:

They are about 12mm bolts so drill a 6 mm ish hole about the size of a star bit so that you have to hammer the star bit in once this is done warm it up and then try to remove it
this failing drill and tap it to the correct size

i thought the threed whent through the caliper into the hub assembely ?? if im right a new caliper wont cure the problem . but as said looks like youre going drilling the new clearance place in kettering has some thread easy outs for a few quid its like a left handed thread that locks in to the hole youve drilled if you want i can pick a set up tommorow as i was going to get some during the week and drop round

Beware of cheap Easy Outs - if or more likely when, they shear you will have a hardened bit if steel in there that a drill won't touch.
Can you get the caliper off ? Is there a stubb left of the bolt ? If so, weld a nut to it and use a spanner - the heat from the weld will assist in releasing it.

 Use a good set of reverse handed drill bits, Works well as it heats up and causes vibration whilst ffrilling the bolt out, in many cases the whole broken bolt has come out whilst drilling
