Langdale Quest needs your help
xmob:
Have you been to Langdale Quest recently? Did you go to the website and fill in the testimonials page?
Since LQ opened, it has always been given temporary planning permission to operate. The planning process is taking place again right now. The good news is that LQ have been told that temporary planning permission will not be given again. That means a full planning approval, or nothing at all!
One of the arguments for LQ is that it diverts users away from the local fragile green lanes and onto a properly managed site. It is difficult to prove this without feedback.
If you have recently visited LQ, please visit and leave your comments (including a message for National Parks) here:

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, there is a lot of anti feelings. Comments from antis range from sensible to outright lies. LQ needs your support.
As well as losing (what I consider to be) one of the best off road sites in the country, there are jobs at stake (including mine!).
Big Watty:
not one for commenting on these sort of things - I have replied with my support for the Langdale Quest on behalf of MK 4X4
Budgie:
There you go Pete, form submitted.
We're staying in Pickering again in June so we'll make sure to come up again for another day on the Alpine course. :D
How's that very fit dog of your's, still showing people around?
xmob:
Thanks guys.
Erm, I don't have a dog. :? There are 2 Pete F's up at LQ (gets very confusing sometimes), the other doesn't have a dog (that I know of), maybe he did before I started there.
Budgie:
We were there in September last year and there was a black Lab that showed us around 3/4 of the Alpine course before he went off to show another Disco round. :P
We were told on the radio that this was "normal" and he must have done it a lot cos he knew which way we were going before we did! :?
