Vibration whilst accelerating

I seem to have develped a rather worrying vibration of my 300tdi Disco

While I accelerate between 25-30mph I get a real bad vibration, like going over rumble strips!

It's fine at other speeds and it's only whilte accelerating.

Any idea's??

Check your prop-shaft U/J's, mine did that exact same thing a couple of weeks ago, alternatively has a wheel balance weight been knocked off, have a quick look around for any shiny spots on the rims.

Hope you get it sorted quickly.

I suspect prop shaft - is if just a matter of greasing it up??

No M8, if it is indeed the prop youll need to take it off and change the UJ as the bearings will prob be Toast inside the caps
easy test is to lay under the car and see if the front prop moves up down left or right?? cos it shouldnt lol

having said that I changed mine the other day and the yoke was jammed solid

Just been under the Disco, there's a lot of play in the fron prop, so looks like the UJ
