Hello

I am concidering taking Class 2 lessons, is this a catogory C and C1??

Cheers

Sorry for bing a numpty

JumboBeef:
C1 is up to 7.5 tonne.

Sider:
The old Class 2 is now cat C.

Cat C will entitle you to drive any rigid goods vehicle, irrespective of MAM. It will also grant you the C1 entitlement, allowing you to drive rigid goods vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.

Remember that before you are allowed to drive commercially, you will have to obtain the CPC-driver (35 hours tuition). I would also recommend obtaining ASAP a digital tachograph card.

The CPC is a legal requirement and you won't be allowed to drive (for money or reward) without it. The digicard is not compulsory, but not having it would limit you to vehicles with analog tachos, and they are starting to became scarce.

if you go for it try and get yourself onto a bin lorry round. No need to learn tacho rules then. best part of the job.

MuddyDiscoveryJay:
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
