exhaust manifolds

(1/2) > >>

JIMBOBLY:
ive bought 2 exhaust manifolds off e bay for my rangie, they werent sure what they came off,are they the same 3.5 and 3.9,rangie or early 90 or 110,i thought they were all the same,if they arnt no good,i'll just sell them on again, cheers jim.

Range Rover Blues:
3.5 and 3.9 EFi have twin downpipe manifolds, these are the best cast iron manifolds you can get, the P38 ones don't fit.  If they have a single outlet they might be Defendcer or carb RRC.  The EFi type don't fit a Defender because of the pedalbox I'm told.

JIMBOBLY:
they'll be ok then mate,as they are for twin down pipes, cheers mate, put my mind at rest now, lol.

Range Rover Blues:
Just make sure the gasket face is good and flat and the bolts are A1.  I had loads of trouble with mine on the LSE particularly, I think because the cats were blocked, but both our V8s have sports sytems now.

JIMBOBLY:
well,i made sure that the face was ok,as thats why im buying another one, because mine has corroded away badly, hence why it keeps blowing.this manifold has new studs, and has been faced on a head planer.ive have got them now, they are good ones, cheers, jim.
