Tubes for my tyres needed?

(1/1)

NIVAD:
My 235 70 16 offroad tyres are slowly going down, leaking from the rim.

Does anyone know of a company that will supply and fit tubes at a resonable price?

Near too south birmingham would be nice?

Cheers

Not wishing to put a dampener on your plan, but tubeless rims and tyres aren't designed to have tubes fitted - although there will be plenty of people on here and elsewhere that have done it. The way that a tubeless tyre grips the rim requires a ridge on the inside of the tyre bead that will rub against a tube and (eventually) wear through it. Check with your insurance company to see what they say about the idea.

When I had a similar problem my local tyre emporium used a sealant on the tyre bead which looked/fealt like mastic. It did the job but had to be renewed each time the tyre was removed for puncture repairs.

HTH  :)

If your still going the tube way,ive got a stack,£10 each fitted!!!

Stick 1/2 a can of instant tyre repair in. That'll cure a rim seal leak ;)  Done it many times with no problems at all.
