defender steering wheel

hi guys got the nut off the wheel but how do i get the wheel of the shaft? it says i need a special tool any ideas ,thanks in advance j

 you can make a simpler one by doing away with the big bolt in the middle and just having the bit of flat bar with two longer bolts either side with a nut on each above the flat bar.  the end of the bolts goes into the two threaded holes on your steering wheel and then tighten the two nuts down a bit at a time on each and the wheel will pop off

worth trying to use even and repeated palm thumps on back of wheel towards you while sitting in seat - but keep the nut in place (loose) just in case it work and breaks your nose.
