Discovery 2 won't go in a stright line

Before I changed the shock abosorbers and the track rod ends mine bounced about on the motorway, especially if there were the tramlines on lane one. t is a lot better now but I will be changing the steering damper before long.
Also, what size wheels have you got? Apparently, the 18inch ones are a bit prone to helping discos wander

It's on 16 inch wheels were standard tires are 235/70/16 mine are 245/75/16 I cheacked all the front of it tonight but I'll have a look over the rear tmz night
I'll be on the same bit of motoway this weekend but with the wobbly box on the back ( caravan )
this wondering is it like you get stuck in a rut and bounce from side to side

Dont forget the universal joints on the steering column as well. :doh:

Just finnished cheakin the back end all is good there ujs from wheel to stearing box are good still confused

Mine used to do exactly that. Changed the track rod bar and shock absorbers and it improved greatly. Just need to change the steering damper and at some point the uj on the steering column (in the engine bay) as there is a bit of play in that as well
