Sorry for all the questions: I need to know  :D

What sort of mileage would i get out of a full tank of diesel. 2.5TDi engine.

lee celtic:
450 ish

Not exact as I drive on lanes and motor ways and every thing in between so I haven't been able to be 100% acurate .. :D

Hope it helps

strapping young lad:
depends on your right foot

ive got 500 out of mine when i first had it but if i floor it to work and do a lot of higher speeds then its going to be less but is def over 430 mils per tank even then

Budgie:
Ya, I'd go with the two above on a standard vehicle.

It will reduce slightly with mods like larger tyres, roofrack, larger intercooler etc.
With all this, and more, fitted I'm still getting about 28-30mpg and 350 miles from 3/4 of a tank I always fill-up when it gets to quater of a tank so I've still got a good 100 miles worth of fuel left.

With the amount of mileage I do normally a tank-full will last me three weeks to a month and with diesel now 96.5p a litre on the island it's just as well!!
