V8MoneyPit:
The only negative comment I have about them is the amount of heat they kick out. Ours is in the kitchen and it gets unbearable sometimes.

beast5680:
rubbish all of them they neither job well we tried loads and they were all the same, gone back to a washing machine and a tumble drier as seperate items work far better

Are you talking about washer dryers or condenser tumble dryers ;)  Condenser tumble dryers have a heat exchanger and an internal water tank so you don't need to run a pipe to the outside of the building. Means that your not limited on where you can put one.  They are generally accepted to be not as reliable as normal tumble dryers but as long as they are looked after (cleaned) then there should be no issues.

Our condenser drier always steamed the kitchen up,its now in the garage keeping me warm when working on the landys!!!!!

Sider:
Just as an idea: How abouit a normal (vented) tumble drier with a condenser box??

You can fetch the boxes for less than £10 and the driers themselves are about half the price of the condenser ones.

Only my 2p.
