One thing you can try is to check the panhard rod bushes, quite amusing if its them, start it up, reach through the window and take up the slack side to side on the steering wheel, and watch the front wheel to wheel arch, to see of the body moves but the wheels stay still :wink:

You're not wrong there. It's easier to trace the play if therr are 2 of you though, as there are plenty of places that it could be as stated above. For the cost of balljoints I would swap the lot before you pay to have the tracking done.
