New LR owners....do you think they go offroad?
Mark Y:
Having off roaded a brand new X5 I can understand why they have been told not to off road them, it's expensive calling for recovery when they are stuck (which is often), awsome onroad though

Not just that - I remember reading a bit in one of the magazines when the X5 came out. Apparently their photographer had been asked to go and get some publicity shots of the X5, and being a 4x4 enthusiast he'd taken the chance to have a good nose around it. There were no proper front recovery points whatsoever!

Didnt Charlie Boreman use a BMW on his Dakar attempt when he broke his wrist? it was a bit prepped though

Three years ago i took my daughter and mates extra camping gear and food to the Download festival early in the morning in my kitted out Disco. and was asked by Leicestershire police to pull out thier X5's as they were well and truly stuck. Got me free tickets for the weekend :)
