The heat worked... just awaiting the new seal kit arriving and a new nut and locking washer and I can get the new one fitted...

Range Rover Blues:
I tried forever to get mine off, ended up rebuilding the balljoint with it in situ.  When I swapped the box I had to remove it with the arm in place.

One I had it on the garage floor, one swift belt with "persuasion", my big hammer and I had to chase the damn thing down the drive :lol:  Part of the probelm is getting a good swing at it.

I put the hydraulic puller on and left it tight, a couple of hits with a hammer and went for a cup of tea, we did hear the chack as it poped off
