D2 auto slow change

i think it needs changing then as its done 93000 miles if they wont do it at garage ill do it.

 i have got it into low box but only twice after a lot of pulling and faffing about but it has decided now not to go at all any ideas.

  ive just noticed oil at the bottom of g/box at the edge of bell housing could the crankshaft oil seal have gone worst after a long drive my garage floor never had oil on it when i had bmw i tell a lie when s111 had a prob it did leak but that was 30 yr old but i thought with new ideas even L/R had sorted out leaks and seals how wrong am i

 have you tryed goin in to low box with the car rolling no more than 2-3 mph but dont move high low till main box is in nutral
as for your oil leak is it black dirty oil or is it red oil  black oil ening oil red stuff gearbox oil

low /high box working now sweet as a nut. but still losing black oil so it looks by what your saying its engine i dont want to say it but crankshaft oil seal oooohhh

Mine is leakin from the crankshaft oil seal it's one of them to do it it wil cost a fortune so prob do as I'm doin which is live with it stupid really as it's a modern car but it's a landrover they all leak oil mine leaks engine oil ace oil n trainsfer box oil but only a little of each not enough to make a mess of my drive

 GOOD news i eventually got the garage to look at it they took the plastic cover of top of the engine and the rocker cover gasket had gone quick replacement and of we go they did tell me that they thought crankshaft oil seal was the culprit when i phoned them.

i have sticker by the h/l box gear saying diff lock with four wheels at different angles its an 2003 car would it have diff lock fitted it does have hil decent control fitted how can i tell?  
 
will chipping the car improve economy as well as performance if so what is the best chip and is it worth removing the ERG whatever that is. Got cut up on a round about today and what with the turbo lag i wished i had my old v8 but not at the pumps anyway need to give it a bit of a boost
