It is flat at about 1500 - 2100 rpm I hate to think what a manual would be like

im shocked is a manual worst than an auto?

Anyway its pouring down here and the sun roof is leaking tracked down the previous owner he tells me he had a £2  part changed under warranty total bill £500 headling had to be removed to do job time elapse since job done 4 months my warranty doesnt cover it not amused with this car so far. ive had it 6 weeks rocker cover gasket replaced lack of go /flat spot and now water tipping in water all over radio and heater controls  need 7 seats occasionally so wondering if quick change is requ now before it relly tips me of looking at merc e class

Blow the drain tubes with compressed air in the front corners if that fails do what I did and seal the bloody things shut then they will never leak 

They are a great car and do everything you want they just have small problems (they all leak a little oil, sun roof they leak every now n then other than that it's just normal runnin repairs

I have a td5 disco my girl friend has a disco v8 my dad has a disco td5 every other weekend one of them needs something doin to it ask anyone of us what we think to them n we will all say we would not drive anything else as we like them so much

It goes like the clappers to 52 mph then the gearbox locks up drops rpm to about 1900 to 1950 then it's dead till 2100 then it goes again but 95% of the time it's towin a ifor williams box trailer weighin 3 tons plus so on the motoway it's in the flat spot most of the time

compushift would sort that out, you can set the lock up speed, shift speeds, shift pressure and much more
