D2 auto slow change

you can tell with the egr it makes the run a little smother but does not give extra power
plug in box about 160 off ebay not very good
chipin your lookin about 400 quid ish to get ur ecu flashed buy td5alive this is the best way to tune
mines runing td5 alive chipin
huge td5alive intercooler
turbo bost box with boost up to 22psi (standard 15psi)
devon 4x4 egr removal kit
stright through center box replacement pipe
devon 4x4 side exit exaust
all that lot has given mine 220 bhp and loads of toque
now mgp well its not good to start with mine were doin 18 mpg round town 26 mpg motoway
with it tuned if i dont realy use the power 22 mpg town and 29 motoway
towing the big box trailer with loads in it 13 mpg standard 18 tuned
if you use the power its no worse than befor i tuned it
but ive spent 1400 quid on tuning it alot is how far do you want to go
yours will have the difflock fitted the lever should move left to right for the difflock
and forwards and back for the high low

THANKS for that i think ill start with the chipping i made a centre exhaust for my sons subaru cat replacement so ill do mine as well. i do have a large intercooler dimension to be confrimed as its stuck up my garage attic at mo, is the size relevant or the bigger the beter?
the difflock wont go left or right only high/low with the probs ive had i dont know weather to take it to a landy garage to confrim

Yours is a 2003 it will have the cat as well in the front down pipe that robs power my intercooler is about 3 times bigger than standard the idea is the bigger it is the cooler the air so more power
I only started off with mine standard and I found the flat spot made it awful and undriveable I nearly sold it and bought a v8 and I thought it's worth a chance to chip it so I did n I kept it and the gf got a v8 disco 2 and that were it she could not have a car more powerfull than mine lol
difflock may be rusted up on the lever does it have high low and difflock on it or not

the high/low lever has just got HNL on it no mention of diff lock just the sticker saying diflock i read somwhere that the very early D2 had it fitted also the later ones cos people where asking for it instead of hill decent.
its still under warranty so i want to make sure everthing is working as advertised as i dont want to be selling it in year or two and find out of someone who knows more than me that the diff lock should be worrking and is now seized and wont give me cars proper worth

it does not have diff lock you can check for certain if you go under it and were the front prop shaft comes out the transfer box if you feel above that about 3 inch back there will be like a bolt sticking up with 2 flats on it
if you can feel that the difflock is in the box but thees no lever to activate it
if you can feel theres a arm style thing on it then it is seized up
if I'm right from 98 till 2001 they had the difflock in the box but not connected
2001 till early 2003 no difflock inside the box
2003 till end of product in mid 2004 it were connected
the difflock when locked tho disables abs Tc and hill descent so its not what its cracked up to be i don't think
