Im convinced ive bought a jinx
dxmedia:
As above, unless it's bought 'trade' it comes under the sales of goods act. 2nd hand cars aren't exempt.

It's a lemon, reject it NOW, you are within your rights and if you have, in good faith, alowed them to fix it and they havn't then they don't have much of a leg to stand on. Contact trading standards and if needs be I know a good solicitor who work no win no fee.
Got me every penny back for my caravan!

Thanks for all the comments, well the car went back to the garage under warrenty as 4 wheel drive light flashing (they though it was a switch under the gearbox that was faulty) the ABS light is back on. I contacted garage fri to see if car was ready for collection, it was i asked what had been the problem but got no reply. When I picked the car up i found they had it for 3 days and it had nothing done to it, he wasnt prepared to move the gearbox to fix the switch and the abs light had not come on while it was with them, so nothing was done. To say i was furious was an understatement (plus havin to put up with a death trap courtesy car) so at the end of my rope contacted garage and said wasnt happy car not fit for purpose and as described i wanted full refund, got a point blank no. So tomorrow off to trading standards I go!!
