Hi just got back from seeing a fella with 3 disco in his yard they were totally shot.
Cant find a good one been looking for weeks now and as for rangy rarer than hens teeth

Yeap, I wonder how many british jobs have been saved by replacing british built cars with cheap indian/chineese imports?  I bet none of the spares are made here.

i've seen at least 4 discos piled in a scrapyard due to the scrappage scheme, the guy wanted stupid amounts of money for them to be prepared to part with them and he'd already grabbed them with his crane so all the doors if nothing else were scrap ...

i've seen stolen/recovered motors that were still good for donor parts that were destined for the crusher ...

to imagine this sort of wasteage is bad enough but to actually see it is absolutely sickening
