I have absolutely no idea what the justification for the current scrappage scheme is, or for extending it once it was proved it did nothing for British jobs other than export them to china.

Someone, somewhere is getting very rich and he probably helps pay off the Liebour party bankruptcy.  How the hell did our country get become run (into the ground) by a bunch of eejots that can't even balance the books of their own party?

Don't expect anything in brown's britain to make sense, that way you'll not be dissapointed.

 Anyway it has to be a rrc just found out my disco2 has been hitting the handle of garage up and over door if you drive out quicker than a crawl.
its happened to the wife she thought it was something in the boot leprechauns!!! luckily the scratches cant be seen and arent too deep so its a rrc
any thoughts on a p38 or just to heavy, are offroading parts hard to get?        earlier rrc are rare and or expensive

if any one knows of one that is any good in south mid/wales bristol area reasonably priced pls let me know

P38 and nice mcahines and a lte one will still be holding it's value.  Part however are not cheap, add that to the reputation for electricery gremlins and I won't be buying one.  The interior space is better than a RRC, all are on air, though the last one I drove handled badly :-k and economy is typically low 20s not low teens for a V8.

The BMW oil burner is good if slugish, it needs tweaking and needs looking after.

 Just got to keep looking tempted by a v8 i like the exhaust note on them but not the mpg i know i could do something foolish like buy one and regret it at the fuel pump.

I dont know if its true there are so many story tellers but im told some peps are using USED cooking oil from the local chinese in their motors strained first, my son has been used new cooking oil in his old diesel astra.

Getting naffed of looking and not doing once i make a decision i like to get on with it and it doesnt help that everywhere i look soomeone owns or has just sold what im after you know the type ooh i had 3 of those last week mate but i sold them all.

just found out the price of spares for p38 wheel bearings so i wont be getting one off them thanks for reminding me about the lecky bits on them lecky and me dont agree

used cooking oil is fine. 2 buckets, 1 inside the other but make sure it doesnt touch the bottom of the other bucket. holes in bottom of top bucket, few bits of polystyrene or similar over the holes, building sand on top, poor oil onto sand, sand acts as a sieve, good oil comes out the bottom into bottom bucket, goopy nasty stuff gets left onto top of sand. scrape goop off sand and take to local tip NOT down your drain or in the wheelie bin, good stuff you just pour into the fuel tank!
