disco or range rover

Looking to buy a new off roader i need a project so looking to do the work myself which is best disco1 or range rover classic for off roading bearing in mind i want a diesel auto and disco high c/c

well as you know chassis is exactly the same how ever i would prefer the disco 1/ more room in cab 2/ more room in  general for recover gear on the bad side i found they grounded out more than rangys
