L200 advice
« on: February 19, 2010, 16:58:34 »
I'm looking at moving to the dark side and buying an L200 double cab  so I can keep the dogs and dog smell separate from the cab.  I like playing in the mud so will be modifying it, I would be interested  to hear what other owners reccomend in the way of mods suspension/tyres etc also any pics to show what can be done to them would be appreciated.

cheers

Well if i can tell you anything its that if your buying a new style one 06 onwards then make sure its had the fault with the transferbox sorted.
My one just went and mitsubishi wont repair it even though they admit its a manufacturing default, its out of warranty. I'LL FIGHT TIHS TO THE DEATH!!

Anyway the tranfer lever can jam between 4H and 4Hlo just as mine did.

Other than that its been first class, although ive had 7 recalls in the past two years.

And the engine was cutting out at 70 on the dual carriageway too.....

Lol this sound like a negative report but to be honest i love my l200 and would replace it with a new one tomorrow if the local dealer was any good.

If you have any questions just pm. Cheers

Oh and modding them isnt a hassle, theres alot of good gear out ther ofr them now
06 Mitsubishi L200 animal-BFG A/T 265-70-17, Midland cb, twin arials, 4 light force 170 lights (for sale)!! Cheap to a good home
