Looking at a freelander 2 as the next car and like the LTD edition they are doing as in the right price bracket, but the big question, is it worth paying the extra for the Terrain response stuff, or will it do most lanes etc without the need for all the extra gadgettry?

If it will do snow and ice and basic lanes etc without the need to tell it what ground I am on then won't sped the extra £5k to have it  :rolleyes:

To be honest i'd say it's not worth it,i run the FL1 and it's not let me down once although i do have AT2's on. Personally i'd save the money and spend on tyres and toys,cheers Andy.

The TR starts with the GS meaning the S and LTD edition don't have it  :?

I'm not buying new but I have been asking myself the same question when looking at second hand FL2's. I have decided to look for something with the TR as I would hate to be in a situation where I'm thinking I wonder what would happen if I had TR!!
