Brake line fittings

Hightower:
One of the things pointed out at the MOT last week was the fact that my brake lines are starting to corrode. Rather than buy the stock items (which are a [!Expletive Deleted!] to fit apparently) I am thinking of getting my own made up with flexible hose from Earls (or someone similar).
Only trouble is, I can't find out what size the fittings are at the ends. Does anyone know what they are please?
