hehe!
i came accross a woman today who had pulled off the road to let a van past and ended up in a gateway of a snowy muddy rutted track on the estate. there was no way she could get back on the road under her own steam!
we looked for the screw in towing eye - no joy! she didnt even know what one was which probably didnt help!
we looked everywhere, all we found was the hole where the spare wheel, jack and towing eye, should have been!!
in the end i got bored and was on a mission so i cracked out the waffle boards and shoved them under the front wheels! - enter my friend chris with the lead foot! took a few tries but we did it!!
shes going to take it back to where she got it from and moan at them! poor blokes!
hehe

My wife came across someone who had done the same. She got out to try to help and the chap in the vehicle she'd pulled over for shouted out that he hoped they would get a move on as he couldn't get in the field because the car was blocking the way  Needless to say, my wife suggested he might be better off helping than whinging...... or words to that effect...... might have been a few choice words in there too

Snowing big ol'flakes up on the Plains early when I was walking dogs. Dunno if it will stick but it was bitterly cold in the wind.
In other news - how many dead badger can one road have in about 2 mile stretch??? On the b3098 between Edington and Erlestoke I counted 7 dead badger.

I always find it very odd that I see plenty of dead badgers on the roads, but I've never seen a live one near the roads...
