Pee'd off..............
Disco-Ron:
Is it only me, or does everyone go through propshaft uj's and wheel bearings like they're going out of fashion.......
I grease them what i call regularly... and they still last no time at-all........
Any ideas............ apart from burn the truck......
Range Rover Blues:
Don't fit cheap ones, fit Timken or GKN bearings, fit GKN UJs and grease the living daylights out of them.
Is the truck lifted or do you wade a lot? lifted UJs suffer, washed out bearing sof any sort likewise.
Big wheels will get through bearings too, the 200 Defender had the wheel bearings further apart than the Disco to make them stronger.
I remmebrr Tim went through lots of wheel bearings before finding out the swivel bearing was causing the play.
Disco-Ron:
+2 inch on springs............ have costor correction arms, and cardon prop onthe front, and wide angle one on the rear, only ever use timken, and gkn............. i don;t get it.......... i must be doing something wrong............. the truck is solely a play thing, so does get quite wet....... and muddy...............
ben-dent:
do you clean the underneath after playing??? my old disco used to go through them, and that was because i never washed under neath, i now give it a quick blast with the presure washer on the props
Disco-Ron:
It gets a proper jet off after most outings..... and it lives in a dry garage...............
