Wow, inventive :)

disco2 td5:
i want  2 work lamps on the back of my disco2 i dont have a roof rack i were half thining  drilling the body somewere around the top of the rear light clusters is this a good idea or not i know im putting holes in body work but i cant see me selling it in a hurry

Mud_Medic:
The rear post with the tail lights is hollow, so drilling the outer skin does not gain access into the vehicle. This is great, as it prevents water entering through the wire grommet.

(But its a land rover, so the inbuilt swimming pool is a standard feature, not an optional extra)/

the panel is aluminium, not steel, so won't rust. (the corrosion you see is caused by the electrolytic current where steel (Iron) touches the ali)

Thanks! The Wipac 7202 - see http://www.wipac.com/uk/acatalog/Work_Lamps.html - seems to fit the bill best! :D Anyone know where these can be purchased in the Northants area? My Googling has proved inconclusive...
I'm begining to see the light! :afro:

Cheers,

Nick
