Old LRO magazine article - featuring a modified LR 90"

(1/2) > >>

Porny:
Does any one remember an article in LRO about 4/5 (ish - maybe more) years ago featuring a black Land Rover 90".

The 90, was 'very' modified, with a side exit fish tale exhaust, modified turbo, freestyle alloys, proflex dampers.... etc

The 90, as mentioned was black, with some yellow, and I think pink, graphics on the front, and I'm sure the mods had been done by a French tuning company. I'm sure it was called an X-treme or similar.

I'm really after a copy of the article, or any web sites that are shown in the article?

Unfortunately I no longer have any old editions of LRO.

Grinch here!!

Only a temporary pseudonym Andy, normal service will resume on Saturday.

Yes the 90 in question does (did) reside in France.
And yes, I do have the specific copy of 'LRO' somewhere.

Will find it & reply with an issue number

Andy.:
Glad to hear it Richard, I miss the hat

You could also scan the said pictures of this 90 and post them so we can all see

Bush Tucker Man:
Found it!

Produced/modified by an amalgamation of Land Rover France/4x4 magazine (Paris) & Sodemo & Team Arras Auto Sport.

193BHP from an essentially stock engine. The main mods being a bigger turbo (Garrat T3, custom manifolds)
Oh, and an ice-holder. The fuel Filter is cooled by ice-cubes, same principle as an intercooler.

Good for 120mph.

Sorry no web-address, as the 'net wasn't a big thing in those days
