are you able to flash your main beams while your dipbeam is on ie to say thankyou to someone for letting you out at night etc

as i have just fitted another switch and still they wont flash they just go on have a just bought another knackard switch or is this a landrover thing that they have disabled?

You have to flash them pretty quick or you end up with main beam, its controlled by the Becm not the switch. If the switch is u/s you wont be able to get main beam at all

yeah mine is like that, i haven't mastered how to flash it quickly so normally end up blinding people!!

I think i might adopt the no flash policy, like many other drivers on the road, but mine will be in the interests of public safety, not ignorance!!!

Try dipping from headlights to sidelights,same effect but no dazzle

You just pull the switch back a bit till you feel a bit of presser you main beam will come on then but not stay on when you relise the switch. Takes a bit of getting use to.
