its also worth checking the sedimenter located over the rear axle, these always seem to get over looked............going back to the fuel quality, i used to drive a well modded escort van and if i used supermarket petrol it would loose a lot of performance and not very good to the gallon, so there must be a difference

same prob here seams to be difrent all the time never used to be crap fuel maybe i mainly use morrisons found proformace keeps changeing too day to day one day it pulls like a train others its doppy had it 5 years and its only this year its been like it is fuel geting worse or is it the milage its just passed 160k got me looking for a 90 now.

I keep all of my costs in a detailed spreadsheet (Geek :doh:) and it tells me the cost per mile. I was pleased to find that when the same calculations were applied to my Dad's Citroen C3 Box on wheels, purchased new four years ago and still depreciating rapidly means that it costs him the same per mile as my Disco.

It's a no brainer!

RRC, 21 years old and worth a bit less than we paid.

Micra, 5 years old, lost about £9,500 and it's done 26,500 miles. Holy cow, I see what you mean :doh:
