Spot light bars
Matt_H:
Maybe I jsut had a dodgy one or perhaps all those trees scratching the paint off didnt help!
I wired mine up with one 3 core cable ultimately linked to two in cab switches, I was going to use rear window cutout switches but I've filled the spaces up with those already (one window winder switch for the winch, one cutout for the master winch switch and another one the radio remote)

Big Rich:
I know of two mate who have them and both rusted at the front edge. I think its because the paint is thin. Hightower had a posting about his when he fitted it.

I have had mine a while but not had the money for the lamps. Will try and get it on today if I can.

Colin 009:
Hi Jake where can you get the powder coating done as I have one of these bars and have now got the lights so nearly ready to fit.
Matt_H:
for a one off bar it may end up costing a bit prolly in the region of £50 to be shot blasted and powder coated. If you had 5 or 6 it would probably only be £100 for the lot, it all depends on if they can do small runs or not. I'd be tempted to give it a lick of hammerite before putting it on and see if that is good enough.

turtle:
I bought of these lights bar for Turtle (Defender) and Old Joe has got one (Disco), in both cases we gave them a re-spay of hammerite before fitting.
The paint is a bit thin so if you buy one would recommend a re-spay before fitting otherwise the rust won't take long to appear.
