n reg 300tdi disco whats it worth

im sadly thinking of swaping m trusted disco for a 90 or 110 maybe havent found one i like yet.

iv owned it at least 5 years and took it fro 120k-160k prity much truble free bar matanace engine`s sweet gearbox is very good for milage
 its a 1995 N reg xs in blue few odd  dents and scrachs but still looks nice when washed half lether ect
iv fitted
hd springs and gas shocks all round,
 trimed front valance,
new insa turdo dacars (500 mile ago)
it has a few falts clock dosent work nerther dose the horn and the rear windows only work after driveing a bit

160k miles and will be serviced and valited when it gos whats it worth?




light bar and spots and jate rings to be removed before sale and if its not worth enough will be sold on road tyres or old muds.

If it's a tdi, I'd look at older 90/110 and put the engin from the disco in it.

as for price if it's a tdi up to £750 may get a little more if it's supper rot free and has a full mot.

If it's a v8 less a lot less.

Iv had 5 discos and now have a 90, befor you deside you what one go and drive some they are very difrent from discos. Will also cost a lot more to buy for the age , a tidy n reg 90 may well cost you £3000.

Sorry if I sound negative , but hopfully something to think about.

i know all about 90`s and 110`s drive 90`s quite a bit iv driven them all from 2.5 td to the new 2.4 my other car is a landy 109  not going down the buy older fit my engine (have a 109 iv fited a 2.8 to so engine swaps not a problem but  what im after is a late 300tdi with less miles than mine and yes it will cost me i know. i hate td5`s but a crewcab is tempting me but td5 has a ecu and there are alot about with engine probs over 100k

my disco is rot free at moment need oiling to keep it that way soon was thinking about £1500 for it?

there is just something i like about defenders but it would have to be tidy as for work and best and will be haveing some extras fitted and be kept a few years at least if the disco isent worth over a grand id keep it and find a use for it  :lol: but with a 109,disco,s1 80",3 tractors 3 banger cars my mums car and my gfs freelander and her 306 i may have 16 acres but he parkings  geting a joke lol
and bareing in mind i just sold a 200tdi auto with rot needing welding and no tax or mot for £500 my 300 has mot for 6 months but id take it and get 12 if that helps i know it will pass

north derbyshire isent for sale yet as need to find replacement first as my daily driver.
