Disco 300tdi or TD5..Which is best

Both good vehicles.

Check out the price difference for parts though - TD5's  :shock:
You can run a 300 for peanuts ( so long as you can weld )

Thats one thing I would agree upon...............Landrover have certainly lost there way on the newer vehicles..

Alot of different views then...I will only be using it for the odd day of fun here and there...Not an everyday motor...I keep thinking about a TD5 as they dont suffer the rust and are more upto date..But the 300Tdi is a trusty old bit of kit..And if you get a nice one are comfy inside aswell and I dont think I'd mind so much with the scratches off road on a 300....The price of a standard TD5 I can get a kitted out 300...Think I have answered my own question...

Are the V8 Disco 2's any good...or should I just stick to a TD5 hunt..?
