As the other night i could have done with some help, driving home from the pic's about 10.30 and my phone rings its a guy i know how has taken his dogs out and as it was getting dark he thought he would drive on the grass and sit in the van with the lights on and let the dogs run about which he did but when he came to leave the wheels just span.
but as i dont have a 4x4 at the moment we got another guy with a paj WHO WOULDENT DRIVE ON THE GRASS, and my van is usless on anythink other than tarmac, i had to leave at 1.30am so he had to leave the van and his tools in the park overnight, but luckly he returned in the morning to bump into a lr owner who pulled him out.
I have been stuck aswell a few years ago is their a local group?

He was to far from the road and sunk down good and proper,
just an idea would any of you guys go out at night to rescue a motor stuck in mud just for the crack, as i probley would, since giving up drinking im getting bored and the missus dose my head in.

Assuming they hadn't been pratting around illegally then yep, I'd go and fish them out. That would be as a Mud Clubber rather than a 4x4 Responder though, as the latter hat only goes on with an official callout.
