does paint stripper go off?

just wondering does paint stripper go off? ive been striping some paint work off my my old defennder doors and the paint stripper only works on the bit where its actually poured on, if i spread it around it does nothing. is there a better way of doing it? thanks, William

use some nitromors mate,that'l get it off for certain,but be careful,cause it is toxic,and i will burn ya hands,so wear gloves goggles and a mask,but its good stuff.

use brake fluid that does the trick

Brush plenty on then place bin liners on top & leave overnight  ;), thats how I used to do it when doing bare maetal repaints
