265/75x16 tyres

(1/1)

JIMBOBLY:
who on here has a rangie classic on this size, that hasnt cut the arches, how do you get on with them?im thinking of going from 235/85x16,i have a 3 inch lift on the back, and 2 on the front, any help appreciated :D

Range Rover Ron:
Hello mate,
Both tyres are very similar circumferences,
I'd say the 235/85's are a bit better, you may have to adjust the steering stop with 265's.
I had 235/85/16's on my RRC, it had a 2" lift and I cut the wheel arches bigger and covered the trimming with arch spats.
Much of a muchness really and if you don't need 265's I'd save the cash for something else.
Cheers.........

ben-dent:
i had a set of 265/75/16 ITST with a 2 inch lift and no body trimming, it did catch on the arches on full articulation, it didnt rub on full lock, but i think the off-set of the wheels were right,

JIMBOBLY:
well thanks for the info boys, you've been a great help, cheers, :D
