Electric to Manual windows

(1/2) > >>

wullie_r:
My Disco 1 has electric windows and Im not a big fan of elecy windows.

How much work is involved in converting these to manual windows?

Just replace the mechanisms and door cards?

Also are the electric motors/mech sought after? (not to make money, just so i dont bin them)

I didn't think there were any manual Discos - might need to modify an electric door card.

Look on ebay for the current motor cost, don't bin them.

Disco-andy:
there were manual windows on some discos not many though

you can buy the regulators from paddocks, not sure if  you could convert the door cards.

also try google the following part numbers

ALR6474
ALR6473
MUC2039

handle  MWC6512LUN

cards MWC7754JUL

Range Rover Blues:
Surely the door cards just need a hole in them.. Camel Discos had manual front windows and electrixc back ones.

Discopoo:
I've got manual ones on the front of mine but I'm gonna convert to electric, can't the handle on the motorway lol (too wide, me that is)
